What Reliable Tips stores, what it never stores, and how Wix checkout handles payments.
Summary
Reliable Tips lets a Wix Stores merchant offer an optional customer tip, applied as one additional fee that Wix checkout collects. Reliable Tips keeps only the minimum records needed to apply that fee to a checkout.
Records we persist

| Timestamps and expiry | Creation and update times. Tip records stop applying after 24 hours; expiry does not mean immediate physical deletion. |
What we do not store
- Visitor tokens are used transiently to authenticate a request. They are never stored, logged, or returned in any response.
- Reliable Tips does not process, receive, or store payment-card data. Wix checkout handles all payments.
- We do not persist customer names, emails, addresses, or cart contents as part of the tip record.
What the tip is not
The tip is an additional fee on a Wix order. Reliable Tips does not perform payroll, does not allocate tips to staff, and is not Wix Tips or Wix Bookings.
Retention and your requests
Tip records expire after 24 hours. For questions about data tied to your installation, contact the app developer through the Wix app listing when it is available. Do not send credentials or tokens.
