Reliable Tips adds an optional tip as one additional fee on Wix Stores checkout. Wix checkout, not Reliable Tips, calculates totals, collects payment, and issues the order.

Fail-open behavior and no guaranteed fee

• If Reliable Tips or the Wix integration times out or errors, checkout proceeds without the tip. This is called fail-open and is intentional, so shoppers are never blocked from buying.
• Because of this, a tip fee is not guaranteed on any order. Do not rely on it for revenue accounting without reconciling against your Wix orders.

Scope

• The tip is an additional fee, not payroll or staff tip allocation.
• Reliable Tips is not Wix Tips or Wix Bookings.
• Reliable Tips does not process payment cards.

Mock demo

A separate mock demo exists for development only. It simulates checkout and takes no payment.

Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for how you describe the tip to customers and for compliance with laws that apply to your store, including tax and fee disclosure rules.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided as is during the preview, without warranty. Merchant-specific legal terms, governing law, and a legal contact have not been supplied and should be added by the publisher before launch.
